The London Scorpions Girls Select program that Southwest London offers is part of their house league program and provides players with an opportunity to practice and compete at a higher level. In addition to their regular house league schedule, the Select teams compete throughout the summer in one-day weekend tournaments against teams from across the province, culminating with a Provincial Championship.
Southwest London Girls Fastball is the only Association in London to offer an opportunity to play house league Select in all age groups (Mite, Squirt, Novice, Bantam and Midget/Jr). Select teams enter OSSTA tournaments, these tournaments are held throughout Ontario.
Southwest Girls Fastball works hard at developing players of all ages through pitching and off-season clinics and off-season workouts and it paid off as the London Scorpions teams have won many medals in the OSSTA tournaments.
To be eligible for the London Scorpions Girls Select team a player must be registered with Southwest London Girls Fastball.
